Sadie caught out amid Caleb cheating shocker as Emmerdale spoilers confirms what happens next

Sadie faces the music – but an even bigger twist follows (Picture: ITV / Metro) Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) has succeeded in Emmerdale in driving a wedge between Caleb Miligan (William Ash and wife Ruby (Beth Cordingly), spinning a web of venomous lies. The expert schemer, who staged a historic return to the village after two decades, has set her sights on destroying Caleb and Ruby after Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. Her plan has worked seamlessly as she manipulated Ruby into drinking too much in a bid to make Caleb ear she’s an alcoholic. Sadie has exacerbated these fears amid conversations with Caleb, who then shared his concerns with Ruby. Little does he know, however, that Sadie has been in Ruby’s ear, making her believe that Caleb’s efforts to stop her drinking are controlling and abusive. In tonight’s visit to the village, Sadie took the plan to the next level, switching Ruby’s non-alcoholic beverages with her own and watching chaos ensue. Caleb witnessed a drunk Ruby dancing with Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and, with Sadie manipulating him into thinking that Ruby had left the pub with Ross, he resolved to end things with his wife once and for all. Confused, Ruby makes it clear that she did not sleep with Ross. Caleb is shaken to realise such a thing, revealing that he saw her dancing with their daughter’s ex. Ruby is mortified but assures him she did not cheat and, upon finding out that Sadie led him to believe such a thing, she seeks out her so-called friend, wanting answers about her lies. She is forced to try and cover her tracks, insisting she was only looking out for Ruby. Will Ruby believe her? We’ll just have to wait and see but the bigger twist here is that, while believing Ruby strayed, Caleb cheated on his beloved wife with Sadie! We wouldn’t want to be Caleb when Ruby finds out. Charity is quick to remind Marlon of his loyalties but, after brainstorming ideas with Robert and getting wind of the potential salary, he and Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) hand in their notice – much to Charity’s horror. Charity makes a show of Mary and Marlon in response and chucks Robert and Aaron out of the pub.
