Hollyoaks rocked as Frankie exposes Jonah’s drugging of his own son

Frankie makes a huge discovery as Jonah squirms (Picture: Lime Pictures / Metro) Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) makes a huge breakthrough in Hollyoaks next week when she finds a drug in the system of Caleb Keane (Lewis Walton), who has been drugged by dad Jonah (Matthew Wolfenden). Jonah, as viewers know, has been drugging son Caleb, who was injured in a crash upon his arrival in the village in April, for months. Caleb and his family remain completely in the dark about what patriarch Jonah has been doing. Caleb was deterred to see the world with girlfriend Frankie and, in a bid to keep him under his roof, Jonah resorted to drugging him once again, which led to conflict with Frankie. With unresolved feelings still lingering there, Frankie comes up with an excuse to see Caleb. Will a reconciliation be on the cards? We’ll just have to wait and see but Beth (Rebecca Ryan) faces new heartbreak, with Maddox (Sam Meyer) slipping away from her – and he reveals that he’s going to Switzerland to meet his biological family alongside Caleb. Frankie, who started work experience at Dee Valley hospital last month, is horrified when she spots Caleb being rushed in. Jonah attempts to deter her away from his son and feigns concern over his condition. With her interest piqued, Frankie takes a look at Caleb’s test results, breaking every rule in the process. But her efforts prove fruitful, as she locates an anti-depressant in his system. Frankie speaks to Darren(Picture: Lime Pictures) After doing some research, she speaks to Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson), who draws upon his own experience to offer advice, urging her to approach the situation with care. Frankie subsequently speaks to Caleb and mentions that she knows he’s on strong anti-depressants, which is overheard by Jonah, who swiftly intervenes. Later, Maddox vents to Frankie about Beth and Jonah’s controlling nature, which leaves Frankie with worrying food for thought.
