Star Wars Jedi 3 Title Splits Gamers

Sign in to your ScreenRant account With the third entry in the Star Wars Jedi franchise expected to conclude the saga, fans are eager to see where Cal Kestis' journey will take him next as he fights against the ongoing tyranny of the Galactic Empire. The story began back in 2019 with the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and more recently in 2023, a sequel was launched with the name Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. As such, fans have been debating what the third and final entry will be titled, and whether it will have something to do with how Cal's story ends following one epic journey. With Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor currently sitting at 7.6 and 7.1 user scores over on Metacritic, it is safe to say that the Respawn Entertainment action-adventure saga already has a lot of support behind it. As such, there is plenty of pressure for the final installment to maintain the winning streak, but with details remaining scarce on its development, it remains to be seen how it will play out. For now, however, fans have been taking to r/FallenOrder to ask the following question, "What title do you think the third game will have?" The user continued, "So far we’ve had: Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor. What do you think the third installment will be called? Since it’s the final game of a trilogy, I imagine it’ll be something big and epic sounding, maybe using some title buzzwords like Legacy, Legend, Shadow, Destiny, etc." With almost 70 comments in response, it is safe to say that Star Wars Jedi fans have their own thoughts with guesses ranging from 'Jedi: Rising Order' to 'Legacy' and everything in between. "Jedi Knight or something kind of epic would be cool, but I think it has been used for other games and wouldn’t quite work with the existing naming convention," one comment read, whilst another added, "Jedi Master would be a good nod to the old series and a logical step forward for Cal." However, another user has looked back at the franchise so far to come up with a logical estimate. "I've called 'Jedi Temple' for a few years now. I think the foreshadowing of Cal looking at the temple at the start of Survivor is a hint the third game will require visiting there." At the time of writing, it is unknown what the third and final entry in the Star Wars Jedi saga will be titled, but we do know that if it follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, the finale will be one epic conclusion.
