Every Large Sunken Relic In Pokemon Pokopia's Bubbly Basin DLC

Published Aug 10, 2026, 7:31 AM EDT Although Kaitlyn grew up with a passion for both video games and writing, she never imagined she'd eventually combine them into a career. Now, with several years of experience in the industry across Guides, Features, News, & Reviews, Kaitlyn enjoys nothing more than continuing to deep dive into the games she's passionate about and share her findings with readers. In her downtime, Kaitlyn enjoys unwinding with her favorite horror films, despite being a major scaredy-cat. Since Bubbly Basin is an addition to Pokemon Pokopia that is almost entirely underwater, it's only fitting that it has its own Large Sunken Relics. These Relics are similar to those found in the other regions of the game. They're found in sparkling blocks and need to be appraised to reveal what they are. That said, Large Sunken Relics are specific to the Bubbly Basin region and appear as a large blue can instead of their usual color. Additionally, the appraisal method is slightly different, since Professor Tangrowth can't swim. How To Find And Appraise Large Sunken Relics As mentioned, even though these relics are found underwater, the process for finding them is the same. While swimming through Bubbly Basin, keep an eye out for blocks emitting a sparkling gold light. When you see them, use your punching ability to break the block and then pick up the relic that falls out. They won't always be Large Sunken Relics and could also be Small Relics or CDs, but you'll want to pick them up regardless. Unfortunately, since they spawn randomly, there's no specific location where you can find each Ancient Artifact. However, if you'd like to find as many as possible but are having trouble, they can occasionally be in boxes you can't see. If you feel like this might be the case, grab a Pokemon with the Search specialty, like Frillish, and use the Dowsing Machine to track more down. You may also find some of these items as is while exploring Bubbly Basin, but unless you find and have the Large Relic holding it appraised, it will not be registered in your collection or appear in the Pokemon Center PC's shop. Once you have found a couple, you won't be able to bring them to Professor Tangrowth, but you can still bring them to the Pokemon Center. There, you'll interact with the PC that will have a new Appraisal option. Use this option to video call Professor Tangrowth, who will appraise your items remotely. Keep in mind that the rewards/appraisals are random too. You may find three copies of one relic before finding some of the ones you're missing. You just have to keep searching.
