Microsoft released Azure Linux 3.0.2022 on Friday night as the newest version of their in-house Linux distribution. Given the rampant AI/LLM-fueled bug reporting and security research, Azure Linux 3.0.2022 ends up incorporating more than 470 security fixes for different CVEs across the many open-source projects making up Azure Linux. The security fixes in this month's Azure Linux update range fro hardening of certificates due to the eMudhra incident to security fixes for the Linux kernel and other common open-source projects/ Plus some of Microsoft's own Azure components have also seen security fixes.
