Here's Every New FUT Icon Coming To FC27

With EA Sports FC 27 right around the corner, and even closer for those who have invested in the Ultimate or Ultimate Plus Editions, we're taking a look at the new Icons joining the FUT game mode and seeing which ones we're hoping to pack as soon as possible. There are ten new Icons in FC 27, with some truly huge names from both the men's and women's game finally making their way onto the stunning white-and-gold cards. While players have had a go at guessing the ratings of these new Icons, their ratings are now official, so there's no need to guess. All Ten Icons Debuting In FC 27 Among the ten Icons making their debut in FC 27 are six women and four men, and they're from a wide spectrum in terms of active playing careers, with some best known from the 2010s onwards, while others are from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Changes We Would Make To The FC 27 Icons It's easy to say from the outside looking in that the overall ratings and PlayStyles of these Icons are wrong, and while we're sure that a ton of data has gone into making these decisions, we have some changes we'd suggest for three of the new FC 27 Icons based on what we know about these players and having watched many of them for large chunks of their careers. Ellen White Ellen White being an 89 overall feels low; she's one of England's most successful strikers, scoring 52 goals in 113 international appearances and 98 goals in 217 domestic appearances. We would raise her overall rating to 90, and also raise both her shooting and physical ratings to achieve this. While White was a fast player, we don't think the Rapid+ PlayStyle is the best one to represent her game, and would instead have opted for either Relentless+ or w Driven Shot+. Sergio Agüero With all due respect, Agüero is a nailed-on 91 overall at least, so we'd start by raising that by also raising his shooting and dribbling skills. As for his Finesse Shot+ PlayStyle, again, it just doesn't fit how he played the game, and we would instead go with the Gamechanger+ PlayStyle. Pepe Perhaps the only player we'd actually lower the overall rating of here is Pepe. He was a beast in his prime, and his stats represent exactly the kind of player he was, with 87 physicality and 89 defending, but the 80 pace seems generous, and so does the 65 passing. The good news is the Bruiser+ PlayStyle is absolutely spot on for Pepe; just be sure you don't end up taking too many red cards if you have him on your team.
