Starting in just a few days, viewers will have a chance to catch up on the series for a limited time on a streaming platform other than Disney+. As reported by Variety, a new content licensing agreement will result in Disney bringing a number of movies and TV shows from its catalog to Netflix. The headliner of the group is Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The first two seasons, which adapt Riordan's The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters, will be available to all Netflix subscribers beginning on Oct. 4. The show won't be around forever, though, as it is scheduled for a three-month promotional window ahead of season 3's premiere on Nov. 20. Additionally, all the Ice Age movies will be available to stream on the same day as Percy Jackson in preparation for the release of Ice Age: Boiling Point in February 2027. Other shows and movies coming to Netflix from the Disney catalog include Will Trent, Soul, Elio, Revenge, and Fresh Off the Boat, among others. It will also introduce the di Angelo siblings, characters of great importance to the rest of the series. Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri will reprise their roles as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover respectively. They'll be joined by newcomers Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo and Olive Abercrombie as his sister, Bianca.
