Kim Kardashian has revealed she employs a formidable total of five nannies, with one on duty at a time and another four on rotation.The 45-year-old is primary guardian to the four children she shares with her third ex-husband Kanye West - North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven.Kardashian, who is now dating F1 superstar Lewis Hamilton, clarified the nature of her childcare arrangements in a profile interview with the Times of London.She also shared her disquiet at her children's increasing public profile, as North becomes a TikTok star and ventures into the music industry.'I do worry about it. Each kid does what they’re comfortable with,' she said, explaining the nature of their involvement with her family's reality show The Kardashians.'So, my little ones come around when I’m filming but they don’t really do storylines. North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back,' she confessed. And so it’s like us really kind of trying to savor those moments and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way,' she observed.'And with her, since it’s more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about. Kardashian and West have previously clashed over North's upbringing, for instance last year when the rap star included his daughter's vocals on a track featuring Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who was facing trial on a raft of sexual misconduct allegations.Combs was acquitted that July of the most serious charges against him, sex trafficking and racketeering, but was found guilty on two lesser charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.Kardashian's parenting also came in for public opprobrium when North revealed in August 2025 that she had obtained a dermal piercing consisting of two small metal balls under a knuckle of her right hand middle finger.Dermal piercings are distinct from other piercings in that a tiny anchor hooked under the skin is used to keep the jewelry in place.As a result, they come with risks like keloid scarring, infection and - if improperly looked after - even rejection by the wearer's body.North's mother, who has spoken often about being her primary guardian, was thus raked over the coals for allowing her to get a dermal piercing so young.
