While no specific release date has been announced, the crowdfunding campaign is confirmed to be going live in "a few months" according to one of the studio's developers, who posted a reply in the official game thread late in June after the official "trailer" launched (shown below). While details are still sparse on the project at the moment, Dishonored: The Board Game is an official tabletop adaptation of Arkane Studios' acclaimed stealth franchise, with a crowdfunding campaign currently in its preview phase on Gamefound. Designed for 1–4 players, the cooperative campaign game emphasizes the same sense of immersion that made the video games famous, allowing groups to tackle missions through stealth, supernatural abilities, or melee combat. Central to the experience is the iconic Chaos System, where Low Chaos and High Chaos decisions permanently alter future scenarios, while a "fail forward" campaign ensures the story can be picked up again even if you end up in dire straits. Players will explore Dunwall using vertical movement, hidden paths, unique hero abilities, and supernatural powers inspired by the games, with scenarios expected to last roughly 180 minutes each. Rather than controlling Corvo Attano, players take the perspective of a different faction operating within the Empire of the Isles, while Corvo instead appears in a separate narrative role.
