Montegrande | INQUIRER MANILA, Philippines — Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla said the two suspects identified in the killing of pro-Marcos vlogger Alicia Lipata were connected to a criminal group “based in the south.” “We’re about to arrest them any minute now… Anytime now because we’ve identified them, located them and are now tracking them. So, it’s coming soon,” Remulla, speaking Filipino, said in an interview on DZMM on Wednesday. We’ll validate all of that once we capture them,” he maintained. He did not immediately provide further details. Alicia was gunned down by a motorcycle-riding tandem early Friday morning in Caloocan City. The Philippine National Police (PNP) previously said it identified the two suspects behind her killing and that investigators were still looking into whether Lipata’s statements motivated the incident. In the meantime, PNP public information chief Col.
