Best pizzas in Britain are revealed as 16 restaurants named in huge awards – did YOUR favourite make the list?

BRITAIN’S best pizza have been revealed ahead of a huge awards show. Finalists for the National Pizza Awards 2026 have now been named, with a total of 16 independent restaurants and chains battling it out to win the prestigious title. In the running, is Alfi in London, with the independent branch hoping its Dom Pizza will help it win the crown. In the running, is Alfi in London, with the independent branch hoping its Dom Pizza will help it win the crown. Its a signature Neapolitan dish comes with tasty fior di latte, friarelli, salsiccia, pancetta, pecorino and costs £18. Meanwhile, Franco Manca, which has around 70 sites in the UK, is hoping for a win with its Mezzaluna pizza. The tasty dish is part pizza, part calzone, baked on its signature sourdough. Another chain in the running is ZiZi, who has put forward its Black Gold pizza, which is served with cheese and ham.
