The new footage (below) has Brad Pitt‘s former stuntman now working as a Hollywood fixer, while also bartending and working as a projectionist. The trailer also includes a playful joke at the expense of his Once Upon co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. Booth explains he no longer doubles for DiCaprio’s character Rick Dalton because “Rick got too fat.” The film marks a unique collaboration — written by Quentin Tarantino with David Fincher taking over as director. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth gets a two-week exclusive run in Imax theaters globally starting Nov. 25 and then will debut on Netflix on Dec. 23. It’s 1977, eight years since Cliff Booth (Pitt) encountered the Manson family in Quentin Tarantino’s parallel history of 1969, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. In The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, directed by David Fincher from a new script by Tarantino, the fairytale is over. Los Angeles no longer needs a hippie-slaying stuntman the way it did. But Hollywood will always have problems, problems that can only be solved by someone with Cliff’s unique (occasionally extralegal) abilities.
