Strictly’s Will Best and Dianne Buswell reveal first dance

TV presenter Will Best and professional dancer Dianne Buswell have revealed they will be dancing the samba for their first performance together on Strictly Come Dancing.The pair were partnered up on last Saturday’s launch episode and are spending the week rehearsing for this weekend’s performance.Speaking on Hits Radio Breakfast, Best said: “Can we reveal it? Are we allowed? We’re doing a samba to Rock DJ by Sir Robbie Williams.Dianne Buswell said Will Best makes her laugh ‘with the dance face’ (Ian West/PA)PA Wire“Because I don’t think you get this, because we do a radio show, so it’s like radio DJ. Right. Do you get it?“But samba is hard, it is. I’m certainly making it look like the hardest one.”Show host Fleur East asked Buswell how she thought Best was getting on, to which she said he was working “extremely hard” but there was “lots of room for improvement”.Best has been told by some of the professional dancers that he resembles Jim Carrey in The Mask when concentrating, and as a result Buswell sometimes has to stop rehearsals because she is laughing so much.She told him: “You do make me laugh with the dance face, but I love it.“I love the dance face, so I don’t want that to go away although sometimes it’s scary.”The BBC has announced a new Strictly Come Dancing spin-off series which will be hosted by Tyler West and Abi Clarke.The show will “take viewers straight on to the Strictly dancefloor for immediate reactions from the night’s eliminated couple, their dance-off opponents – plus the judges, new hosts, other Strictly stars and studio guests”.The show will be available exclusively on BBC iPlayer every Sunday night immediately after the results show has finished.
