BBC Radio 2 star pulled off air after 50 minutes due to illness as she issues update to fans

BBC Radio 2 presenter Reverend Kate Botley was pulled off air this morning after struggling to present due to illness. So get well soon.” In an Instagram post shared hours after the show, Kate confirmed that she had the flu and was very much resting up at home. “52 and freshers flu,” her caption began, shared alongside a snap of her on the sofa in a BBC Radio 2 hoodie. “Shout out to my @bbcradio2 family for sending me home this morning. After 50 minutes on air it became apparent I was no use to anyone. So many lovely messages from our lovely listeners.
