Zoe Ball wishes her late mum a ‘happy heavenly birthday’ in sweet post – two years on from sad death

ZOE Ball made an emotional post online in commemoration of her late mother’s ‘heavenly birthday’. The former Radio 2 host took to Instagram to post a video compilation of photos of her and her mother together. Penned in the post’s caption, Zoe sentimentally wrote: “Happy Heavenly Birthday Mama. Posting on X at 4.44am about her passing, Zoe said: “Sleep tight dear Mama. “Thank you for teaching us how to love unconditionally, to always show courage and empathy. “And how, even in the darkest of days, laughter is the greatest of gifts. “We are bereft without you but will hold so tight to each other.” Zoe quit her Radio 2 job last year but has since landed a role with Greatest Hits. A source told The Sun back in June: “Greatest Hits have wanted her for a while and as soon as Zoe found out about not getting the Strictly job, she decided to take it. “She absolutely loves being a radio presenter and after stepping away from her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show a year ago, she took time to think about what she wanted. “She knows so many people at the commercial station and can’t wait to get started. “She is due to join the station this autumn.” Comment now
