Sign in to your ScreenRant account The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is widely considered to be one of the best games in the series, which is what makes its absence from the Nintendo Switch or its predecessor (beyond NSO) a little shocking. Fans have been calling out for it to be ported throughout both consoles' overly long and currently too short (respectively) lifespans. Of course, there is every possibility that Nintendo will deign to bless its fans with such a port in the future, but until then, Wind Waker enthusiasts will have to settle for side projects and the like. This includes the $755 elephant in the room, something that is sure to shock casual fans who are simply eager to play Wind Waker on the Switch 2 and perhaps intrigue the devout fanatics desperate to get their hands on quite literally anything related to the game. Neither is the wrong reaction, mind, as this staggeringly exorbitant new statue is not simply one of the most impressive pieces of Wind Waker merchandise, but perhaps one of the most gorgeous pieces of The Legend of Zelda merch full stop. Short of a full-blown Wind Waker Switch 2 remake or port, fans have had to contend with new collectibles that, for the most part, haven't quite stirred the spirit. Sure, these collectibles look fine enough and are sure to satisfy the interests of those happy with adorning their shelves with everything The Wind Waker-related, but for those who've been looking for a project with a little more substance, it may not be enough. The aforementioned $755 statue may rectify that, as even gazing upon the thing is sure to bring a smile to any fan's face. Produced by First4Figures, the Link on The King of Red Lions figure is exactly as it sounds. It depicts the iconic Toon Link from The Wind Waker aboard his trusty sentient sailboat, the King of Red Lions, sword and shield on his back, his hand pressed firmly against the tiller. This isn't the only piece of Wind Waker merch released in 2026, but it is perhaps its biggest, with First4Figures even citing it as one of the biggest releases in their entire Zelda line-up. Coming in at 25 inches tall (that's around 3 Wii U cases stacked on top of each other), the statue boasts the kind of detail one would expect from a product that costs $755. From the way the sail is designed to look as if the wind is shaking it as Link traverses the Great Sea to the water rushing toward the bow of the ship, there are a lot of nice touches that fans are sure to appreciate. If you are interested in purchasing the statue, the Link on The King of Red Lions statue can be pre-ordered from the official First4Figures website. Currently, you can only put a deposit of $113.40 down to reserve the statue and will pay the remaining balance, $642.59, when it is ready to ship. The details on the release date of this Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker statue are scarce, so fans will have to keep an eye out on their email to see when it is dropping.
