There is so much information on the internet that the vast majority of it gets relegated to saved lists that we think we’ll get to later. While we rarely do, there’s a certain sense of security in knowing that they’re there. But anyone with a Watch Later playlist on YouTube found that ripped away in the past few weeks. Now, peace has been restored. Signs of trouble started last month One of the first signs of trouble was in mid-July with a YouTube forum post that said it all: “All the videos in my Watch Later playlist have disappeared.” The problem hit others, resulting in users checking in on other forums like Reddit to find that they were not alone. The issues varied in how hard they hit, from a total wiping of Watch Later playlists to some saying they could view a portion of them but not nearly all. Finally, a fix Today YouTube posted on YouTube forum that the issue is fixed. “We’re happy to share that the issue is now fixed! You should once again see all of your videos displaying correctly in your playlists, including Watch Later on the YouTube app,” it wrote. YouTube gave no explanation about what caused the issue.
