The company has launched two new models, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 and Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact, while also bringing back the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite.The three models are aimed at different room sizes and price points, with the Mijia Air Purifier 6 sitting at the top of the lineup and the 4 Compact targeting smaller spaces. Prices start at Rs. 7,999, while the most expensive model costs Rs. 19,999. All three will go on sale in India from September 2.What new purifiers bring to the tableThe Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is built for larger rooms, covering spaces up to 940 sq. ft. based on 2 air changes per hour. It has a Particle CADR of 443 m/h and a Formaldehyde CADR of 218 m/h, and according to Xiaomi's own testing, it can purify a 108 sq. ft. room in about 3.5 minutes. The purifier uses a five-stage filtration system, combining filtration, activated carbon for gaseous pollutants like formaldehyde, UV-C light, and negative ion technology. It comes with a colour display showing PM2.5, PM1, temperature, and humidity, and can be controlled through the Xiaomi Home app or via Alexa and Google Assistant. Sleep Mode brings noise down to around 32dB(A). The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact is aimed at smaller spaces like bedrooms, kids' rooms, and study areas, covering rooms of 400+ sq. ft. It uses a 3-in-1 filtration system rated to capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, and carries TV Rheinland Allergy Care Certification.It has a simple four-colour air quality indicator, along with Auto, Sleep, and Manual modes. The unit weighs just 2.2kg, runs at 20dB in Sleep Mode with the display turned off, and uses approximately 0.65kWh over 24 hours of continuous use at maximum power. It also connects through the Xiaomi Home app with Alexa and Google Assistant support. The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite, meanwhile, is being reintroduced with up to 360m/h Particle CADR and coverage of 269-463 sq. ft. It uses a three-layer filtration system with a primary filter, high-efficiency filter, and activated carbon, also carries TV Rheinland Allergy Care Certification, and offers a 33.4dB(A) Night Mode along with real-time air quality monitoring through the Xiaomi Home app.Pricing and availabilityThe Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is priced at Rs. 19,999, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact at Rs. 7,999, and the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite at Rs. 12,999.
