Woman and man found stabbed to death inside house as suspect in his 40s arrested over ‘murder’

NewsUK News A MAN and a woman have been found stabbed to death in a house as a man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Cops have launched a murder probe after the two victims were discovered at a property in Blackburn, Lancashire at 8.22am today. Emergency services raced to the scene this morning where paramedics from the North-West Ambulance Service sadly declared the pair deceased. Enquiries have led officers to arrest a man in his 40s on suspicion of murder and he currently remains in custody. Police are now appealing for anyone with relevant information to come forward. Officers will remain in the area as they continue to probe the incident. A Lancashire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with their loved ones at this distressing time. “We have a dedicated team of officers assigned to this case, carrying out CCTV, house-to-house and forensic enquires in the area. “There is currently a scene on at the property and will remain in place over the coming days.
