Woman, 23, charged with murder after man found dead in block of flats following ‘assault’

A WOMAN has been charged with murder after a man was found dead in a block of flats following an “assault”. She was remanded into custody ahead of a hearing at Southampton Crown Court tomorrow. A 54-year-old man was arrested in connection with the horror but has been released from custody without any further action. Hampshire Constabulary said it was called to the block of flats at around 4.21am following reports of an assault. A spokesperson added: “Officers attended the property but Craig was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. “His family were notified and continue to be supported by specially trained officers.”
