Wolverine Trailer Confirms Jean Grey Love Interest

Sign in to your TheGamer account It's a big day for Marvel's Wolverine, which is currently having a big panel at San Diego Comic Con, detailing never-seen footage of the game in action, as well as more details regarding the story. As promised, we got a big new trailer for the title, this time focusing on the game's story and what Logan is actually doing. Wolverine Has Set Up Jean Grey As Logan's Love Interest In the trailer, we see a bunch of footage involving all the villains we already know. There was Sabertooth, Sentinel, Lady Deathstrike, and well as more confirmation of The Hand, but one of the more interesting sections of the trailer is that it seems the game is setting up Jean Grey, who was previously revealed in a different trailer, as Wolverine's love interest. Of course, comic book fans will know that Jean Grey has been Wolverine's love interest a few times in the past, though she is more commonly associated as a love interest of Cyclops. It seems like Insomniac has gone for the former, especially with comments from Jean Grey actress Krizia Bajos, who commented after the trailer during the panel that "there's something there, a cosmic connection. She can see through his walls and his wounds." However, it does seem like their relationship may be a little bit more awkward than it seems, as Wolverine appears to be dealing with a partially lost memory. It'll be interesting to see how their relationship grows in the game, and whether we'll be looking at a Wolverine and Jean Grey ship when the game ends. If Cyclops has anything to say about it, it might not finish that way.
