Sharpen your swords and stuff some Rupees into your wallet because The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake has finally been released. In this adventure game, you play as Link, a young boy who is tasked with stopping a great evil from taking complete control of Hyrule. Throughout this journey, you'll help all types of people, both to advance the main story or just to obtain additional goodies. One of these side quests is in Kakariko Village, which requires you to find seven missing Cuccos who have escaped their pen. The reward for your efforts is an Empty Bottle, which is something you'll definitely want to snag early on. Here is where to find all seven Cuccos so you can save yourself the headache of looking all over town for them. Kakariko Village Cucco Locations When you arrive in Kakariko Village, head to the south and speak to the young red-haired woman outside the empty stable. Speak to her to learn that all her chickens have escaped, and she is requesting your assistance in wrangling them up. To do so, you'll need to locate each Cucco, approach it, and hit the interact button (A) to pick the chicken up. Then just run the bird over to the pen and throw it in with ZR. The order you rescue the Cuccos doesn't matter. Cucco 1 Location The first Cucco can be found right outside the main entrance when you enter the village on the east side. It should be right by the tree where the Foreman is hanging around. Pick up the Cucco, run it back to the pen, and throw it in. Six more to go. Cucco 2 Location The next Cucco can be found by climbing up the stairs on the north side to reach the elevated area that looks over the rest of the village. You will find the next bird right beside the stone staircase leading up to this area. Cucco 3 Location From where you've been throwing the Cuccos into, look for a building that's under construction directly across from the pen. Among the equipment and bricks will be the next Cucco. However, don't throw this one into the pen, we're going to need it first to reach a few other Cuccos. Cucco 4 Location While holding the third Cucco, run up the large staircase leading to the raised building in the south. From there, look towards the large pile of stacked bricks with a Cucco on it. Jump off the edge of the wall and use the chicken to fly across the gap to the fourth Cucco. Throw the bird you're holding onto the ground below, then pick up the one on the bricks and put it in the pen. Keep that other bird out, as you will need it to access other areas. Cucco 5 Location The fifth Cucco can be found behind the fenced-off area in the northeast corner of town. While holding Cucco, make your way up the staircase directly in front of the windmill and jump off the edge where the fence is broken. Use the Cucco to float over the high fence to the other side. Now take both Cuccos and toss them over the fence before returning them to the pen. Do not go over the fence with them right away. Cucco 6 Location Still on the other side of the high fence, look for two ladders that lead up the eastern wall where the windmill is. Climb up the ladders to find the Cucco right in front of you. Now float down to the village with this Cucco and throw all three into the pen. One left! Cucco 7 Location You can find the seventh and final Cucco inside of a box to the left of a house with a red door. This will be right by the main square where the central tree is. Roll into the box to break it, grab the Cucco, and return the bird to the pen. Once all seven are back, speak to the woman to complete this side quest and earn yourself an Empty Bottle to use.
