U.S. Export Controls May Be Training China’s AI Stack to Survive Without Nvidia

This article argues that U.S. export controls on advanced AI chips are not simply restricting China’s progress but also accelerating the development of a domestic AI sovereignty stack built around Huawei hardware, DeepSeek models, and Chinese cloud infrastructure.
