US and Israel prepare strikes against Iranian energy infrastructure as soon as this weekend

The United States and Israel are reportedly preparing a harsh bombing campaign against energy infrastructure in Iran, possibly as soon as this weekend.The threat of looming airstrikes against the Islamic regime comes in the wake of the televised Cabinet meeting held by President Donald Trump at Camp David, a country retreat in Maryland usually reserved for breakthroughs in foreign policy.At the Friday meeting, Trump vowed to strike Iran “very hard” to force the country to come to the negotiating table as the war prolongs even longer. “We will be hitting them very hard,” he said. “And you know at some point, they’re going to say, ‘We just can’t take it anymore.'”When asked about reviving diplomatic talks, Trump responded, “I think we just want to win.”The plan for additional strikes, which has yet to commence on the president’s final order, is expected to target Iranian energy sites such as power plants and refineries, according to CBS News.
