Live Blog Update| War on Iran 18 August 2026 17:46 BST The UAE's defence ministry said on Tuesday that Iran targeted its terrority with two ballistic missiles, after reports that the country issued a missile threat alert earlier. In a post to X, the ministry said that air defences “detected two ballistic missiles launched from Iran toward the country, with the first falling outside the country’s territorial waters, while the second fell within the territorial waters”.
