Two killed, two injured in multiple road accidents in Visakhapatnam

According to preliminary information, the motorcycle was allegedly being ridden on the wrong side of the road when it was hit by a lorry travelling in the opposite direction, from Anandapuram towards Anakapalli.The man riding the motorcycle died on the spot in the impact. The four-year-old boy and the woman, who were travelling as pillion riders, sustained serious injuries and were shifted to a private hospital in Arilova for treatment.In another accident at Isukathota Junction on NH-16, a 35-year-old woman was allegedly hit by a lorry and died on the spot. Further details about the circumstances leading to the accident were not immediately available.Police were gathering further details in both cases. Investigation is on.
