The space western anime may have wrapped up on Crunchyroll, but that doesn't mean Studio Orange is done quite yet. The new Trigun Stampede adventure will see Vash and other familiar faces from No Man's Land. And while it doesn't have a concrete release date yet, it's set to arrive sometime in Q1 of next year. If you're unfamiliar, Trigun Stampede is a reimagining of the original Trigun anime and manga series by Yasuhiro Nightow and is developed by Studio Orange. The protagonist, Vash the Stampede, is a skilled gunslinger with a bounty on his head. Vash travels No Man's Land looking for his twin brother, Millions Knives. Season Two of Trigun Stampede aired on Crunchyroll between January and March 2026, but it looks like the Human Typhoon and other Trigun Stampede fan-favorites will return in 2027 thanks to an official new release. Trigun Stampede Roleplay is a new and officially-licensed tabletop role-playing game from Mana Project Studio and Don't Panic Games. The TTRPG based on the acclaimed anime will be launching on Kickstarter soon, and promises you'll be able to play as unforgettable characters that allow you to leave your mark on No Man's Land. So far, only the Corebook has been shown off. With a number of IPs, including Blade Runner and Invincible, getting their own tabletop RPGs in recent years, it's cool to see popular anime and manga properties getting official TTRPGs as well. If you're on the fence about the new Trigun Stampede Roleplay game, then you can actually download a PDF for free right now and give it a try. It comes with a new adventure called "Escape from Juniper," which is meant for 3 to 6 players and a GM (Game Master). The adventure will take around two sessions to complete, depending on playtime. Although Trigun Stampede Roleplay won't be releasing until 2027, a Press Play Quickstart PDF can already be downloaded for free in English on the Mana Project Studio website. Here's everyting included in this free Press Play Quickstart: The core rules of the Resistance System, reworked for No Man’s Land "Escape from Juniper," a ready-to-play scenario for 3 to 6 players plus a GM, lasting up to two sessions Five pre-generated characters, plus group and settlement sheets Quick reference, Fallout tables, and safety tools The only other items you'll need to play is a set of polyhedral dice (from d4 to d20) and around five d10s. If you don't have physical dice, though, there are free apps you can use, including one that works in-browser via Google Search. In other words, you can start playing Trigun Stampede Roleplay 100% for free before the core rulebook launches next year to see if you'd like to back the game on Kickstarter once the campaign goes live. If you're looking for a new way to experience the story of Vash and company, then be sure to give this tabletop RPG a try. Even if you aren't overly familiar with Trigun Stampede, the systems here look pretty interesting and could appeal to fans of anime or just TTRPGs in general. Release Date 2023 - 2026-00-00
