After dominating the NFL, Tom Brady might be looking to do the same in WWE. While appearing at Fanatics Fest last week, Brady spoke to WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes about potentially getting in the ring. “I need to get an invite. I’ve been waiting for [WWE president] Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix,” Tom Brady said. “I feel like I’m retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there, still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete.” Brady added that if his former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Rob Gronkowski can get into the ring, he can as well. “You know, my boy Gronk’s done it, I’ve seen, obviously Logan Paul do it, I think I could get in there for at least one match, right?” Brady said Thursday to Rhodes, via Grant Gordon of NFL.com. “C’mon Nick, c’mon make it happen.” After Brady made the comments, he went face-to-face with Paul on a Fantatics stage. The seven-time Super Bowl champion QB slapped Paul, and New York Knicks star Kar-Anthony Towns separated the two. Tom Brady wants to be a ‘bad guy’ in WWE If Brady is serious about competing in WWE, he would love to be a heel since it’s fitting based on his NFL career. “It’s such an easy choice,” Brady told Rhodes. “I’m a bad guy; I’ve always been a bad guy. I feel like when our teams did really well, I would always go into these stadiums … when you go on the road, and you’ve had some success, they don’t like you.” One of the reasons Brady is a “bad guy” is that he was a consistent winner in his NFL career. Along with seven Super Bowl wins, the 48-year-old holds the record for most QB wins (251), won five Super Bowl MVP awards, and won the NFL MVP award three times. Additionally, Brady will troll teams when he has the opportunity. While speaking to graduates at Georgetown University in May, Brady took a shot at Texas Tech when mentioning Danny Amendola. “He wasn’t the tallest, he wasn’t the fastest, but he had a huge heart, and he played his ass off in the biggest moments,” Tom Brady said of Amendola. “I hope you guys find colleagues like Danny. Having business school friends are great, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you need a kid from a glorified community college who can bail your ass out of any jam.”
