After each cleaning run, it returns to the dock to empty its dustbin, refill its water tank, and wash and dry the mop pads. You will still need to replace the dust bags, refill the dock’s tanks, and clean the brushes from time to time, but there is less to deal with between runs. It is especially useful in homes where low furniture and everyday clutter tend to cause problems for robot vacuums—instead of using the raised navigation tower found on many competing models, Roborock built the sensors into the body. That keeps the vacuum just over three inches tall, allowing it to clean beneath beds, sofas, and cabinets that taller robots may not reach. It can also work around toys, cords, and other objects without constantly getting stuck or losing track of where it has already cleaned.
