One of the most beloved actors of several generations, Patrick Stewart, died this week at the age of 86. Best known for his work as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on various iterations of Star Trek, Stewart was as versatile and talented as actors come. And so, when a person like that is lost, the world grieves. Fans, colleagues, filmmakers, and more took to social media to express their love and adoration for Stewart, and here are just a few. Hugh Jackman: We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor.
