FUMING fans of The Voice have vented their anger after the shock axe of Sir Tom Jones. Vexed viewers have taken to social media to criticise the sudden departure of the music legend, 86, after 13 seasons as a coach. A source told The Sun that Tom only found out that he had been booted very last minute. Tom took to Instagram to break his silence on his axe from The Voice. The performer penned: “To be clear, I did not want to leave The Voice as I love the show and really appreciate the audience. “ITV made this decision – obviously a while ago, and I was just told recently. The reason given is because of a financial difficulty with insurance. “They now say in the press they wanted to ‘refresh’ the show, and with a new coaching line-up there wouldn’t be a chair for me.” Comment now
