The 22-year-old had not previously spoken about his sexuality, but has now said he began to explore his queerness six months ago, after his new partner, Bailey Ramsden, slid into his DMs. Ramsden, a fellow social media influencer, had been regularly popping up on Fraser’s Instagram in recent weeks, prompting speculation they might be more than friends. The snaps of the pair kissing in a photo booth, which Fraser said he posted after taking shots with his boyfriend, hard-launched that they are indeed dating. The Traitors star has now said they’re very much in love, during an appearance on the Not My Bagg podcast. He went on to detail how he realised he was bisexual a few months ago, describing it as ‘quite a new thing’. He told Gogglebox alum Joe Bagg: ‘I think it was a gradual thing I realised. I was looking at boys like, do I think they’re good-looking because I want to be them or because I fancy them? ‘I kind of realised I was bisexual maybe six months ago, so it’s kind of a new thing’ (Picture: YouTube/NotMyBagg) The snaps of the pair kissing in a photo booth were captioned with a white heart (Picture: Freddie Fraser/Instagram) Join Metro's LGBTQ+ community on WhatsApp With thousands of members from all over the world, our vibrant LGBTQ+ WhatsApp channel is a hub for all the latest news and important issues that face the LGBTQ+ community. I liked a few of his pictures first, but then he thought he had the green light. ‘He made the first move, but he always says that I made the first move because I liked a few of his Instagrams. Then he sent a DM, quite a confident message and I was like, we’ll start chatting a little bit. And then we started going on dates, stuff like that.’ Elsewhere in the conversation, Fraser said it felt ‘easier’ to explore his sexuality now he’s past school and university, given that he is surrounded by fewer opinions. He added: ‘It’s a really confusing thing because when I was younger… Everyone [was] like “You’re gay, you’re gay, you’re gay.” And then you’re like, “No, I’m not, no I’m not, no I’m not.” ‘And now me having a boyfriend, I think to begin, I was almost like, [I] don’t want to do it because I feel like I’m proving them right.’ Fraser said it felt ‘easier’ to explore his sexuality now he’s past school and university (Picture: YouTube/NotMyBagg) He entered The Traitors castle for the third civilian series in 2025 (Picture: BBC) Fraser said the fear of public perception over his sexuality plagued him in the time between filming The Traitors and its airing on the BBC. ‘My biggest fear was, “Oh my God, everyone’s going to say I’m gay”. Because I’ve dealt with that throughout my life. ‘Maybe because of the way I’m flamboyant or whatever. But I hate that narrative: that because you’re flamboyant, you’re gay or because you like musicals, you’re gay, because your personality doesn’t impact your sexuality. ‘That’s why I hate when people comment on me hard launching being like, “The closet is glass”. I think that’s really negative because there might be some straight boys out there who are into musicals and now they might feel like they can’t. ‘Especially the younger boys, they might feel like they can’t do what they like because they feel like they’re going to be judged in a certain way. I think it’s just toxic masculinity.’ Deals of the Day Save 25% on red light therapy masks, sauna blankets and sleep gadgets in Bon Charge sale The viral LED face mask with over 350 lights that's currently discounted by £100 A friend said I looked 'snatched' – I credit this new Charlotte Tilbury powder Shop MySweetSmile's biggest Bank Holiday offers before they end Back-to-school shopping just got a lot cheaper thanks to Primark But Fraser said the reactions to his hard launch post have been ‘overwhelmingly positive’, adding: ‘It should never be negative, but obviously you never know in this sort of world.’ Arrow MORE: US government lodges another bid to fire transgender service members Arrow MORE: I divorced my husband – now I’m happily married to a woman Arrow MORE: ‘I didn’t want to kink shame’: How Olivia Wilde’s erotic thriller flipped the script TV Newsletter Sign up and tell us which TV shows you love to watch to get personalised updates every morning.
