The Traitors 2 contestants full list: Rhea Chakraborty, Shalini Passi and more join

Director Karan Johar will return as host of The Traitors Season 2, with actor Rhea Chakraborty, art collector-philanthropist Shalini Passi and chef Ranveer Brar among the 20 contestants on the show. The makers have unveiled the full list of players ahead of the reality series' premiere on August 13.The contestants will play a game of lies and betrayal for a grand prize. The first batch of players includes Abhishek Malhan, Shalini Passi, Kullu, Shweta Tiwari, Rida Tharana, Ansh Chopra, Ikka, Prish, Soundous Moukafir, Karan Singh Magic and Saahil Salathia.The rest of the players are Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Rhea Chakraborty, Krystle D'Souza, Parul Gulati, Ranveer Brar, Shahneel Ghill, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha and Tanya Puri.The Traitors is the Indian adaptation of the internationally acclaimed reality show, produced in collaboration with All3Media International and BBC Studios India Production. The official synopsis reads, "A ruthless reality show hosted by the enigmatic Karan Johar. Here, 20 players will openly betray each other for daily eliminations to compete for a grand prize. Hidden amongst the innocent players are the traitors who are out to murder each night. In this ruthless game, trust is rare and betrayal is everywhere."Every night, the Traitors secretly eliminate a contestant, while the Innocents must identify and vote out the Traitors during roundtable discussions. The show combines strategy, deception and psychological gameplay, and earned praise for its suspenseful format, shocking betrayals and intense mind games.Last season, Uorfi Javed and Rida Tharana won the show jointly as the innocents.
