Jared Leto demanded no ‘eye contact’ in bizarre on-set behavior before new sexual assault allegations

Jared Leto had a long list of bizarre demands while working on set of his 2025 film “Tron: Ares,” a production source exclusively claimed to Page Six. The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman “made several odd requests during filming,” the source alleged, claiming Leto did not want “eye contact of any kind” from his cast and crew members. We’re also told Leto was allegedly on a diet that “consisted of eating only fish” at the time. Due to his food restriction, the source claimed he demanded that a fisherman be brought on set to “catch and prepare fresh fish every day.” Jared Leto (seen here in 2025) had bizarre demands on set of his film “Tron: Ares,” a source claimed to Page Six. On top of that, the source claimed Leto, a known method actor, “refused” to speak out of character. The insider told us that they never witnessed Leto act sexually inappropriate on set. There’s no soul behind his eyes,” the insider, who once toured with the musician, said. “He was a horrible vibe while working with him and he made people uncomfortable. “It was really hard to talk to him, if he even tried to talk to us.” The former co-worker claimed Leto asked his assistants to “hold open doors and his cape.” “People who have known him for years have also said that he is very problematic with women,” the second insider claimed. “Everyone in the music industry knows there was going to be a day of reckoning for him.” The musician (seen on set of “Tron: Ares”) also refused to speak out of character, the source claimed. ©Walt Disney Co./Courtesy Everett Collection The source said he did not witness Leto (seen here with his “Tron: Ares” co-stars) do anything sexually inappropriate. Getty Images Ten women accused Leto of sexual misconduct in a BBC documentary, “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” which was released on Wednesday. In the doc, multiple women who used pseudonyms detailed the alleged encounters with Leto that they said took place between 2002 and 2016 — when they were between the ages of 16 and 18 and he was in his 30s and 40s. One woman claimed Leto sexually assaulted her in a motel bathroom when she was just 17 in 2002. A second woman alleged that she had sex with the “Dallas Buyers Club” star in 2006 when she was 17 in California, where the age of consent is 18. A third woman claimed Leto threatened her with sexual assault when she was 19 after being left alone with him in a hotel room in 2013. A fourth accuser alleged Leto groomed her in 2014 when she was 16 by making repeated sexually explicit phone calls and suggesting they have sex. The documentary also included interviews with two men who worked with Leto’s rock band for years. They recalled uncomfortable interactions between Leto and teenage girls, claiming that he would invite them backstage to his dressing room or to a house where he was recording music. Leto, 54, has vehemently denied the accusations. “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life,” he told Page Six in a statement Wednesday. “These claims are absolutely and categorically false.” Another source told Page Six that Leto (seen here in 2025) was “horrible” to work with earlier this week. Last year, nine women accused Leto of sexual impropriety in an Air Mail article published in June 2025. Leto denied the claims. Twenty years ago, The Post reported that Leto was allegedly “hitting on” teen models at the Maritime Hotel in New York City. He was also allegedly “constantly texting” 16- and 17-year-olds.
