The Best Fire Pals In Palworld

Updated Aug 8, 2026, 5:30 AM EDT Fire-type Pals are some of the best partners you can have in Palworld. Not only are they super helpful for cooking and smelting ingots, but they also provide much-needed heat in cold environments and help prevent you from getting too cold. They are also the only type of Pals to have the Kindling work suitability, making them even more important to catch. Having at least one fire-type Pal in your party is a must, and this list will rank some of the best Fire-type Pals you can find based on their partner skills and the amount of damage they can provide in battle. Here's all that you need to know about them. Updated on August 5, 2026 by Ben Jessey: Palworld has added new Fire Pals to the game and altered some others. Therefore, we have returned to our list of the best to add a few more. 17 Foxparks Partner Skill Huggy Fire Work Suitability Kindling Level 1 Foxparks is the earliest fire-type Pal that you will be able to catch in your adventures in Palworld, as it's found near the starting area. This Pal won't have the greatest of stats in the beginning, but it is still a great early-game Pal due to its ability to cause fire damage. You can also use Foxparks to cook food in your base. We recommend replacing it with other Pals in the base; however if you are running short, you can assign it to your older bases to work on Ingots. Its partner skill allows you to use it as a flamethrower, which can help you catch other Pals easily, and its other skills include the Spirit Fire and Ignis Blast, which can shoot fireballs at enemies. In contrast, its Flare Arrow allows you to fire three flaming arrows which can cause further fire damage. 16 Blazehowl Partner Skill Hellflame Lion Work Suitability Kindling Level 5 Lumbering Level 3 If you find yourself wiping out lots of Grass-type Pals, then Blazehowl is a good Pal to bring along. This is because Grass-types drop more items when a Blazehowl is in your party. And you can charge into battle against them on this creature because it's a rideable mount. What it also does is bring level five Kindling to your base. So, if you need to make lots of ingots, it's good to have one of these around. It can also chop some wood if you need it. You can get them from the Volcanic area to the West. 15 Arsox Partner Skill Warm Body Work Suitability Kindling Level 3 Lumbering Level 2 Arsox is a medium-sized fire Pal that you can acquire from the Volcanic areas to the West. Despite much of its body being surrounded by flames, you can actually use the creature as a mount to get around the world quicker. The Pal is particularly useful in snowy areas because it boosts your Cold Resistance when one of them is in your party. However, it's good to keep some at base, too, since they're good workers. 14 Pyrin Partner Skill Red Hare Work Suitability Kindling Level 4 Lumbering Level 2 Pyrin is among the best Fire ground mounts in the game. These pony-looking creatures can really cover distance at speed. Also, when you're riding on them, your attacks change to fire ones, which makes you extra deadly. This Pal can also be useful to have at base. It is good at burning things you want cooked and is known for doing some Lumbering. They're pretty easy to find in the Volcanic region. 13 Ragnahawk Partner Skill Flame Wing Work Suitability Kindling Level 3 Transporting Level 3 One of the best parts about having a Ragnahawk in your collection is that it allows you to fly around the map in style while dealing fire damage to your enemies from above. The Ragnahawk also has a high Kindling level, which makes it suitable for cooking food or processing minerals. This Pal is one of the best to ride into battle with its abilities like Fire Ball and Ignis Breath. Just make sure to carry a lot of food with you, as its consumption level is one of the highest in the game. This daring bird is found in the volcanic areas of Mount Obsidian. 12 Wixen Partner Skill Lord Fox Work Suitability Kindling Level 2 Handiwork Level 3 Transporting Level 2 Wixen comes with a lot of variety when it comes to work suitability. Alongside its Kindling abilities, you can also use Wixen for transporting goods from one place to the other or for helping you craft things faster using its skill in Handiwork. Wixen is found in the scorching heat of Mount Obsidian. This is one of the most well-rounded Pals in the game as it is also capable of causing large amounts of damage while having many other uses. Its skills such as Fire Ball and Dragon Meteor are great for dealing damage to opponents. 11 Sootseer Partner Skill Grave Robber Work Suitability Kindling Level 1 Handiwork Level 3 Gathering Level 1 Mining Level 2 Farming Level 1 Sootseer is a Fire and Dark Pal who resides in Sakurajima during the nighttime. If you tend to avoid getting closer to strong enemies and Pals, you can use Sootseer's long-range attacks such as Ignis Blast and Volcanic Rain to deal damage. Sootseer's Partner Skill helps you obtain Bones on your farm, which is an essential crafting item. Its dual-typing makes it stronger against Grass, Ice, and Neutral Pals. More than combat, Sootseer is a helpful Pal to assign to your base, as its work suitability lets it perform multiple tasks such as Kindling, Handiwork, Gathering, Mining, and Farming. 10 Vanwyrm Partner Skill Aerial Marauder Work Suitability Kindling Level 1 Transporting Level 3 Vanwyrm combines the Fire and Dark elements to become a powerful Pal. Its Partner Skill, Aerial Marauder, allows you to ride it around as an aerial mount around the map. Just remember that you will need to have a Vanwyrm Saddle to mount it. You can find Vanwyrm around the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster area. Using Dark skills such as Dark Laser and Nightmare Ball alongside Fire-based abilities like Ignis Breath and Fire Ball is what makes Vanwyrm so special and a great Pal to have in your collection. It can help you transport items around your base. 9 Suzaku Partner Skill Wings of Fire Work Suitability Kindling Level 3 The Suzaku doesn't provide too much in terms of work suitability, but its base stats are good enough for it to be one of the strongest fire Pals in the game. Its Partner Skill allows players to use it as a flying mount, which is always fun, and it also enhances its fire attacks. There are plenty of better alternatives to this Pal when it comes to the Fire-type, but it is still a solid choice if you are looking for a Pal that can cause decent amounts of damage and can be flown around. Suzaku is found in the northeastern desert region in Palworld. 8 Reptyro Partner Skill Ore-loving Beast Work Suitability Kindling Level 3 Mining Level 3 Reptyro is the perfect Pal for your mining needs due to its high Mining work suitability. Its Partner Skill called Ore-loving Beast allows you to mount it and also increases the efficiency of mining ores when it is mounted. Reptyro can be found as soon as you enter Mount Obsidian. The exclusive skill of Reptyro is the Volcanic Burst, which makes it slam its legs on the ground, causing volcanic eruptions near its enemies, and also attacking them with volcanic bombs from above while they are trying to dodge the eruptions. This skill makes it a great Pal for causing AOE damage.
