Taiwan Creative Content Fest Launches Spotlight Screenings At Vieshow Cinemas

Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) is collaborating with Vieshow Cinemas to host new initiative Spotlight Screenings, offering buyers and other key industry professionals an exclusive preview of two high-profile Taiwanese titles. The first screening on November 7 is for April, about a migrant family caregiver working in a Hakka community in Pingtung, Taiwan, who upon returning home faces estrangement and challenges within her own family and embarks on a journey to mend fractured relationships. The film was selected for the 2025 Tokyo International Film Festival and received multiple nominations at the 2026 Taipei Film Awards, including Best Actress. The cast is headed by Liu Kuan-Ting, Angel Aquino, Esther Huang, Kaiser Chuang, Yu Tzu-yu and Shih Ming-shuai. The second screening, on November 8, is for fantasy romance series See You At 11pm, which features a story spanning Taiwan and Singapore and transcending the realms of the living and the dead. Watch on Deadline Co-produced by Taiwan’s Three-Giant Production and Singapore’s Mediacorp, the series stars Taiwanese actors Liu Hsiu-Fu, Chloe Xiang, Wu Nien-Hsuan, Peter Ho, Kimi Hsia and Morni Chang, along with Singaporean actors Mark Kok Huang Lee, Gavin Teo Chong Ze and Hong Ling. The screenings will take place at Vieshow Cinemas’ venue at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Nangang, a few minutes walk from TCCF’s main venue at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Meanwhile, TCCF Market will bring together 107 exhibitors from seven countries – Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, France and the Philippines. Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), which organises TCCF, reported that the number of exhibitors in IP categories such as publishing, comics and characters has increased by 13% compared to last year. TAICCA Chairperson Sue Wang said she expressed hope that TCCF “would not just be an industry event, but also a steadfast partner supporting Taiwan’s cultural content industry as it moves forward. By bringing together different fields and technologies, TCCF hopes to continue creating diverse opportunities for international cooperation and help Taiwan establish an indispensable strategic position in the global film and television production chain.” Market attendees include Japan’s Nippon TV and TV Tokyo; Singapore’s Mediacorp; Philippines’ GMA Network; French kids animation companies Madgic Distribution and Zephyr Animation; Bash, developer of Korean healing character IP Washz; and Thailand’s Chada Entertainment, founded by Taiwan-based producer Shee Heng Kuek. Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) is returning for its third consecutive year, with animation IP company Sunwoo & Company and JTBC subsidiary SLL Joongang for the first time, alongside returnees KBS Media and SBS subsidiary Studio S. Several Korean local government agencies and organizations are also joining the market including Bucheon City, Gwangju Information & Content Agency (GICON) and Daegu Digital Innovation Promotion Agency (DIP). Thailand is setting up a national pavilion jointly organized by the Creative Economy Agency (CEA), Thai Animation and Computer Graphics Association (TACGA), and first-time exhibitor Thai Association of Boys Love Content (TBLC). A total of 69 Taiwanese exhibitors will also participate including Sanlih E-Television, Videoland, Chinese Animation and Comic Publishers Association (CCPA), and channels under Taiwan Broadcasting System, including Public Television Service and Hakka TV. First-time Taiwanese exhibitors include STR Network, Joint Journey Creative, So-net Entertainment Taiwan, Gamania and Hope Content Marketing. TCCF Market will focus on five major zones – Copyright Transaction Zone, Production Resource Zone, Animation & Visual Technologies Zone, National Pavilions and Industry Press Conferences – bringing together production, distribution and investment professionals across sectors such as television, animation, gaming and publishing to promote IP adaptation and international collaboration. TCCF is taking place from November 6-9 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2.
