System76 Launches The Thelio Mira AI With AMD Ryzen + NVIDIA Or AMD Graphics

System76 today unveiled their newest desktop computer as the Thelio Mira AI. The System76 Thelio Mira AI is designed for multi-GPU AI training, model fine-tuning, AI inferencing, computer vision and image generation tasks on tthe AI side. Or with its AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPU and NVIDIA/AMD GPU options is also a good candidate for simulations and other HPC-type workloads. Earlier this year System76 launched the new System76 Thelio Mira Linux desktop with AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. The Thelio Mira AI is taking that same updated chassis design and Ryzen 9000 series platform but now adding additional GPU options, the ability for lower-Wattage AMD CPUs to allow more power capacity for GPUs, ad other component options. Pricing on the Thelio Mira AI starts out at $3,299 USD. The Thelio Mira was quite nice in my Linux testing of it while now Thelio Mira AI is an evolution of that. The CPU options are the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X / Ryzen 9 9900X / Ryzen 9 9950X. On the GPU side is up to an AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 or NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000. Or if your budget allows, up to two RTX PRO 6000 graphics cards. 64GB of RAM comes as standard while can be upgraded to 128GB or 192GB and a variety of SSD options. If looking for something more powerful on the CPU side with AMD Ryzen Threadripper, the System76 Thelio Major is a current favorite at Phoronix.
