The title, created by Doom Turtle, is a new space adventure RPG on Steam that follows a “bored Earthling teen” who is thrown into the middle of a huge interdimensional battle. This character will then team up with a “ragtag group of misfits” to defeat the armies of the empire. Legends of Starkadia has turn-based combat with quick-time events, 12 different characters to play as, and both a main campaign and side quests. The indie title is described as quirky, and that’s certainly right. Legends of Starkadia looks adorable and, at the same time, familiar. Its turn-based structure makes it reminiscent of classic JRPGs like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.
