Many global currency and trade experts have been wondering for a while now whether the US dollar might lose its luster as the world’s reserve or preferred cross-border payments and trade or asset management settlement currency. But a panel of bankers and foreign exchange experts gathering at Sibos 2026 in Miami all agreed the answer to that question is "not yet."
