The event is presented by Bank of Baroda. More than 200 projects from over 45 leading developers are being showcased at the event.Mehul H. Doshi, president, CREDAI Chennai, and Director, Doshi Housing Pvt. Ltd, said that events like this were useful for homebuyers looking to evaluate multiple options. The Hindu Property Expo offers a good range of projects under one roof, he added.Ravindra Rai M., CGM Bank of Baroda said: “Bank of Baroda partnering in this event, augments the value brought to table for home loans with highly competitive interest rates, concessions on rate of interest for women and Gen Z customers, new home loan scheme bob Swabhoomi for purchase of plots, among many other benefits, combined with a seamless process under bob Home Loans. The expo is rightly timed ahead of the festive season and is a one stop solution for home buyers in Chennai.”Young women were among the prominent visitors at the expo, with many exploring property options and looking to make their own real estate investments. Most of them were women in their early 30s and were involved in business ventures.Farida Begum Mohammed, from the sales team at Adityaram Group, said that people were increasingly looking to upgrade their homes to suit their lifestyles, with many visitors she had interacted with looking to buy second homes. She also pointed out that easier online approvals were encouraging people to purchase properties, while consumers were becoming increasingly particular about where they chose to live.“We have properties across all price ranges. Consumers are looking for properties ranging from 1,000 sq. ft. to 1,200 sq. ft,” Akbar Basha R, Deputy Manager – Sales, G Square Group. More than 4,000 people attended the expo on the first day.
