Russian Strikes Injure 2 in Dnipropetrovsk, Set Private Home in Pavlohrad Ablaze

Russian armed forces launched nearly 50 drone and artillery strikes across three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region on Thursday, Aug. 20, injuring two men and damaging civilian infrastructure.Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha detailed the strikes in a report on Telegram.JOIN US ON TELEGRAMFollow our coverage of the war on the @Kyivpost_official.The strikes targeted communities in the Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Samar districts, damaging infrastructure, private homes, vehicles, a cultural center, a gas station, and a store.A 63-year-old man was injured in an attack on the Nikopol district and received outpatient treatment, while a 58-year-old man was hospitalized in moderate condition after a strike in the Synelnykove district.Three districts struckIn the Nikopol districts, Russian forces targeted the city of Nikopol and the Pokrovska, Chervonohryhorivka, and Marhanets communities. The area continues to face near-daily barrage due to its proximity to the frontline.Russian forces also struck the Slovianska communities in Synelnykove district, damaging a private home and a car. In Samar district, the Magdalenivska community came under attack.Russia also struck PavlohradIn a separate report, Hanzha said that Russian forces also launched a strike on Pavlohrad, setting a private home ablaze.Rescue workers were deployed to the scene, working to extinguish the blaze.
