Romanian national pleads not guilty after two teen girls ‘raped and sexually assaulted behind seaside Premier Inn’

Ilinca was arrested after being stopped at the Port of Dover while re-entering Britain. He was remanded in custody at the end of the hearing, and will next appear at the same court on August 25. A provisional trial expected to last two weeks date was set for December 7. Polish national Dawid Wlach, 35, was also charged after the incident at the seaside resort. He is accused of two counts of rape of a woman aged 16 or over, one count of assault by penetration on a girl aged 13 or over and one count of sexual assault. Wlach is yet to enter a plea and has been released on conditional bail until August 25. Most read in The Sun Prosecutor Katherine Newson earlier said the two teenage girls were “previously strangers to the defendant”. She told the court both alleged victims had encountered another man, who had “fetched alcohol”. The prosecutor added: “During this time, Ilinca approached the group. It is alleged he sexually assaulted one of the complainants at the rear of the hotel. “All parties went onto the beach where the allegations of rape and sexual penetration occurred.” Police were called at 12:37am to reports two girls had been raped on sand dunes behind a Premier Inn. The scene is also close to the Pleasure Beach amusement park and is overlooked by the Wellington Pier.
