A family member reportedly identified the victims as Deb and Jay MacDonald, according to CBC News. But authorities have not yet confirmed the identity of the two bodies. Deb’s brother, Donjames LeBlanc, told the outlet the couple had been at the lake to enjoy a fishing trip. He said: “They were going to go up and do a little fishing and so on. “They didn’t respond to calls that we forwarded to them, so [the family] contacted the police. And they couldn’t find Debbie so they put off the search for that day.” He said his sister’s body was found the next day in the woods by the cabin they were staying at.
