Republicans are ‘undervalued’ in polls, expect big midterm election wins: Joe Concha

Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha said Republicans are often undervalued in polling, and expressed optimism that the party will pull big wins in the midterm elections.“I saw a survey that was like one in three Democrats will pick up a call when a pollster is calling, one in 10 Republicans will do the same,” Concha said Monday on Fox Business’s Kudlow. “So they are obviously being undervalued as they always are.” “Again, Maine, [Sen.] Susan Collins doesn’t lose races no matter what the polls say and, right now, it says that she’s up or even,” Concha said. In Iowa, Concha said President Donald Trump won that state by double digits while Minnesota Republican Senate nominee Michele Tafoya was running a competitive race against her opponent, Peggy Flanagan. In Michigan, Democratic Senate nominee Abdul el Sayed has struggled leading up to midterm elections, with a member of his own party, Rep. Haley Stevens, switching sides to endorse his opponent. While the RealClearPolitics average shows the Democratic candidate up 5.3%, Concha said he doesn’t have the votes among key demographics.WHY TUESDAY’S ELECTION RESULTS WILL DEFINE THE FINAL TWO YEARS OF TRUMP’S PRESIDENCY“He doesn’t have the black vote that he needs, el Sayed, he doesn’t have the Jewish vote, but he doesn’t have the union vote,” Concha said.Concha said he thinks Republicans also have a good chance of winning in Texas, Kansas, and New Hampshire.
