Report: Jets TE Mason Taylor week-to-week with thumb injury

The Jets placed three players on injured reserve Tuesday and they may be missing another member of their offense for their Week 3 game in Detroit.Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that tight end Mason Taylor is considered week-to-week due to a thumb injury. The Jets will release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday. Taylor started each of the Jets’ first two games. He did not catch a pass in Sunday’s loss to the Packers and his two catches in Week 1’s win over the Titans resulted in a loss of two yards. First-round pick Kenyon Sadiq, Jeremy Ruckert, and Jelani Woods are the other tight ends on their 53-man roster.
