The central bank, however, clarified that this decision will not affect the company's pending application to surrender its NBFC registration, reported The Economic Times.WHY HAS TATA SONS BEEN INCLUDED IN THE UPPER LAYER?Under the revised RBI norms that came into effect in June, NBFCs with assets of more than Rs 1 trillion are placed in the Upper Layer.
