Even prior to the film's release, Tarantino teased a variety of ideas for how to expand Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...'s story, including a TV adaptation of his in-universe Bounty Law series, which he intended to direct all the episodes for. This would eventually lead to the two-time Oscar winner penning The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, a spinoff film centered on Brad Pitt's eponymous stuntman, albeit he passed the directorial reins over to David Fincher. With just over three months until the film makes its Netflix streaming premiere, Variety has brought word that Tarantino is working with HarperCollins for the book The Adventures of Cliff Booth. The new release serves as a novelization of his script for his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood... spinoff sequel, slightly changing its title from the movie's Further Mis-Adventures name. While plot details are being kept under wraps for both the film and novel, it has been confirmed Tarantino's book will release on December 8, on the heels of the movie's IMAX release on November 25, but ahead of its Netflix premiere on December 23.
