Image: Amazon MGM Studios Project Hail Mary: Journey Among the Stars is a mixed-reality experience that lets players step into the role of Ryland Grace, who was perfectly portrayed by Ryan Gosling in the film adaptation. After a successful mission on Tau Ceti, Grace must navigate to Rocky's home planet. Problems quickly begin to arise, and you’ll need to diagnose each issue and figure out how to solve it. That might mean pushing the boundaries of what humanity knows about science, or simply grabbing a wrench and hitting something until it starts working again. The mixed-reality gameplay turns a player's physical surroundings into part of the ship’s environment, with familiar spaces transforming into areas of the Hail Mary. Rocky, Grace’s alien best friend, will help manage your inventory, tasks, and cargo, keeping everything shipshape.
