Bad news for Emmerdale fans after Tom King return as spoilers reveal what happens next

Bad news after Tom’s on-screen return (Picture: ITV / Metro) Tom King’s (James Chase) return to Emmerdale inevitably spells trouble for the Dingle clan, who are set to be at odds more than ever before. Sinister Tom, who abused Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) throughout the duration of their marriage, was jailed two years ago for the torment he inflicted. Belle’s world was turned upside down last month when she learned that he was set to be released. The delivery of a wreath sporting dead flowers left Cain (Jeff Hordley) convinced that Tom was the culprit and thus he organised a visit at the prison. Tom appeared to be his same old self, belittling Cain and referring to his cancer diagnosis, which evidently left the Dingle patriarch seething. Upon returning home, Cain made it clear that no matter what he will ensure Tom doesn’t inflict any further torment upon Belle. If you’re eager to find out what happens next then you’re in luck but we must bring you some bad news first as there is no new Emmerdale episode tomorrow! Instead our next visit to the village will be Monday, in a week that will contain significantly less episodes of the ITV soap than usual due to a number of schedule changes. What happens next in Emmerdale? Spoilers for Monday, November 5 episode The day of Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) return is upon us and the Dingles prepare themselves for his release. Things, however, take a shocking turn when Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) arrives to reveal that Tom has been beaten up in his cell – and is in a critical condition. It gets worse as Cain admits that he organised the attack and Sam subsequently gets a call from the prison to confirm that Samson assaulted someone behind bars and therefore won’t be returning home. All hell breaks loose at the Dingles (Picture: ITV) The realisation dawns upon Sam that Cain had Samson attack Tom. An argument ensues and Sam attacks Cain. Cain storms off, with Sam left sobbing over the fact that his son won’t be coming home. Ask Metro Use AI to go deeper into the stories you care about – powered by Metro and trusted publications.
