Pokemon's Adidas Range Includes Charizard Sneakers And A Gengar Jacket

Pokemon revealed a new range of Adidas sneakers last month in a collection that will also include other licensed apparel to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Now everything in that highly anticipated collection has arrived, and it includes even more merch than we were expecting. Pokemon's AdidFas Collection Gets Surprise Jackets Adidias Specifically, the three jackets you can buy right now through the Adidas website. Not a part of the original reveal, the Adidas Pokemon Jacket is available in three designs - Pikachu, Charizard, and Gengar - and costs $280. I’d act fast if you want one, as the Gengar design appears to have sold out a few minutes ago. Don’t give up hope on the Gengar jacket or anything else in the collection you had your eye on if it sells out. There might be restocks, and some items are available in physical Adidas stores. As fetching as the unannounced jackets are, since this is an Adidas collection, the stars of the show are the sneakers, and there are a lot of them. 12 designs are currently available, although the range doesn’t match up exactly with the sneakers that were shown off as part of this collection’s official reveal in August. Similar to the Gengar jacket, that might be because certain designs are currently out of stock. All Of The Pokemon x Adidas Sneakers Thankfully, the two designs that stole headlines last month are listed and available at the time of typing this. Those are the fluffy Pikachu and winger Charizard sneakers. The fluffy Pikachu Superstar 2s have been designed to look like they’re made out of real Pikachu fur. Let’s hope Pikachu are sheared like sheep and this isn’t a leather situation. There are also fluffy Pikachu and Charmander designs with the Pokemon’s faces on specifically for kids. The Superstar Vintage Charizard sneakers are orange on the outside and green on the inside to line up with the iconic Fire-type’s color scheme. They really do have a wing sticking out of either side of the left and right sneaker, and it’s difficult to see if those wings can be tucked away for when you’re out and about. Charizard’s entire evolutionary line is represented in the collection, with Charmeleon getting its own Superstar 2s, and Charmander has a second design in the collection that’s far less fluffy than the aforementioned one. Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar also all have their own designs, although the Gengar sneakers, which have the Ghost-type’s eyes on either side, aren’t currently available. A shame, as they were among my favorite designs in the new range. Elsewhere on the sneaker front, there are Adidas Control 5 Rayquaza shoes, designs featuring Mew and Mewtwo, and two more showings from Pikachu, including some slightly less fluffy high tops, and my favorite design of the ones currently available, the black and white Pikachu Superstar 2s. New Adidas Pokemon Jerseys Adidas Also among the items that weren’t previously revealed are Pokemon soccer jerseys. One for Pikachu and another for Charizard, designed to look like they’d be worn by players on fictional Pokemon soccer teams. That Pikachu jersey would be perfect for a team from Viridian City. Go Bolts! The unannounced items in the collection go beyond the jackets and jerseys, as the bulk of what has been released today is children’s clothes that include combinations of all the Pokemon mentioned above.
